Shemar Franklin Moore (born April 20, 1970) is an American actor. His notable roles include Malcolm Winters on The Young and the Restless (1994–2002, 2004–2005, 2014, 2019, 2023), Derek Morgan on Criminal Minds (2005–2016), and the lead role of Sergeant II Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson on S.W.A.T. (2017–present) all on CBS. Moore was also the third permanent host of Soul Train from 1999 to 2003. Moore is also known for playing G.U.N. Agent Randall Handel in the second and third films of the Sonic the Hedgehog film series.
